Honorary citizens, dear students and teachers,
Greetings from Brussels and Strasbourg. Last week has been busy for the Members of the European Parliament who travelled again to Strasbourg, for the plenary and voting. In spite of the long week, it is nice to be here with all of You. Also, it is delightful to meet so many young people, who share the common interest to the European Union. Especially, when there are also many nationalities in present.
Dear chairman of ESIN, dear friends of Small Islands,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank ESIN and FÖSS for this kind invitation for your event. The small islands have a special place in my heart. I spend my summers in Velkua on a small island here in the archipelago of South-Western Finland.
